What Happened to Mario?
Earlier last month, the internet was shocked to learn that Nintendo’s beloved character, Mario, is no longer a plumber. Though he was originally created as a carpenter and has worked as a doctor, everyone knew Mario and his brother, Luigi, were plumbers. After all, Super Mario Bros. was a game based around two men going underground to take care of things coming out of pipes. As a company who specializes in underground pipe work and who works hard to make sure bad things don’t come out of your pipes, we feel a certain connection to the mustachioed man. In fact, we believe there are multiple similarities between APEX and Mario.
APEX and Mario
First, Nintendo’s smash hit, Super Mario Bros., was originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1985, the same year APEX Plumbing was started. That means we have both been around for over three decades and serving our respective markets!
Second, though we can’t quite compete with bringing happiness to millions of people across the world, we at APEX strive to ensure that we bring happiness and satisfaction to each of our 1,500+ customers a year through our top-quality work from start to finish. We are so confident in our work and your satisfaction that we offer a 5-year warranty on every job.
Third, though the goal of our work is not to save a princess, we do work hard to save you money, time, and headaches that come along with less experienced companies trying to repair or replace your sewer or water lines. APEX is considered a turn-key solution meaning we perform every aspect of the job including our own locating, excavation, concrete and asphalt replacement, landscape restoration, and clean up. We are trusted by hundreds of realtors across the Front Range for this reason. Oh, and also because of our high-quality customer service and attention to detail throughout the job.
Fourth and finally, the last 3 decades have been good to both of us. With over 32 years in the gaming business (Mario was actually first introduced as a character in 1981 in Donkey Kong), the former plumber has cemented himself as one of the all-time great video game characters. Our 32 years of experience has made us the premier underground wet utilities contractor in Colorado serving the Denver Metro area from Loveland to Castle Rock, Evergreen to Keenesburg. However, unlike Mario, APEX Plumbing is still in the plumbing business and, even more importantly, is not fictional. If you are in need of work on underground wet utilities (sewer, water, fire, storm), we install, repair, replace, move, or remove it so call APEX today!
